<p>R2B has spent the last year building a web 2.0 service that will change local advertising forever. We are ready to launch and our team of 7 is excited about building a world class company. We need a CEO/President. Our technical/production team and leadership is in place and busy. Most of our team is in India. R2B is headquartered in Fremont, CA. The company is currently led by two SV serial entrepreneurs who have run the track a couple of times.</p>

<p>We need a CEO who gets our vision and can sell it to traditional print media companies, local advertisers, consumers, and investors. We have self funded to this point and have built our product. Now we need to raise $1.5m from media savvy investors and form strategic business and marketing relationships with traditional print media companies. This is an opportunity that could be big enough to IPO, and will certainly have a number of interesting exit opportunities.</p>

<p>Duties:</p>

<p>Reporting to the Board, the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be primarily responsible for leading R2B towards the creation of significant value for R2B customers, partners and shareholders. The President/CEO will establish and be responsible for the overall vision, strategic direction, planning, budgets, and operation of the company. This will include product development and engineering, sales, marketing, operations, finance and administration. Specific expectations of the CEO/President include, but are not limited to the following:</p>

<p>• Build and develop the R2B team, provide strategic and organizational leadership and general management of the business</p>

<p>• Guide the technical development process</p>

<p>BioFuelBox, Inc. has a critical opening for an experienced VP of Engineering. This Executive will be in on the ground floor of an exciting, funded startup company to produce biofuels from organic waste products. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated record of managing the introduction of manufacturable and supportable new products, starting from a working breadboard. He or she will hire and mentor technical staff; develop and lead consultants and subcontractors; facilitate the system design, partitioning and interfaces; define and manage the risks; and take overall responsibility for meeting specifications, schedule milestones and budgets for new BioFuelBox products.</p>

<p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p>

<p>• Facilitate the overall design and specifications of transportable-sized chemical processing units (chemical, mechanical, electrical, and regulatory requirements)</p>

<p>• Partition the design and coordinate the development of all components and the system integration (in-house or outsourced)</p>

<p>• Hire, train, mentor and supervise technical staff as needed</p>

<p>• Lead the development of the manufacturing and supply chain for all new products</p>

<p>• Develop aggressive but realistic project plans and budgets with best Project Management practices and lead the execution of those plans</p>

<p>• Provide leadership in quality, engineering disciplines (design of experiments, six sigma, CAD tool usage, rapid prototyping, knowledge management, etc.)</p>

CANDIDATE MUST QUALIFICATIONS:</p>

<p>• 10-15 years experience in high-level management role, preferably in a related industry such as biodiesel, ethanol, olechemicals/vegetable oils, chemicals, petroleum, etc.</p>

<p>• Experience with chemistry, supercritical process, high heat and temperature processes desirable</p>

<p>• BS (MS or higher preferred) in ChemE, ME or a related technical field</p>

<p>DESIRED ATTRIBUTES:</p>

<p>• Experience managing outsource design and manufacturing subcontractors</p>

<p>• Proficient and experienced at Project/Program Management using Theory of Constraints or other disciplined techniques</p>

<p>• Experienced in supplier qualification and supply chain development</p>

<p>• Experience in engineering compromises and trade-offs for introduction speed vs. performance vs. development costs, etc.</p>

<p>• Familiarity with the application and scope of relevant US Codes and Standards such as ASME, API and TEMA</p>

<p>• Background in operability principles and maintenance requirements of the diverse machinery used in the chemical industry</p>

<p>• Training and experience in Quality engineering processes and Quality products</p>

<p>• Proficiency in modeling and analysis tools and techniques such as CAD, CAM, Chemical process models, thermal and structural analysis</p>

<p>• Multiple functional experience in Development, Manufacturing and Quality is highly desired</p>
