Having already taken a huge punch in the gut when leading scorer Kevin Martin fractured his left wrist in the second week of the season, the Kings were staring at an early knockout when rookie star Tyreke Evans had his right middle finger X-rayed after Friday's loss at Dallas. Fortunately, the Kings ducked this one. The X-rays were negative, so Evans' status officially became day-to-day.
