Heading into each week's game, as a beat writer, you have some different themes you are looking for when writing a game summary. I could have written this story earlier in the week and been correct in my assumptions as Seattle was no match Minnesota's overall talent and explosiveness and suffered a 35-9 beat down in a game that wasn't even as close as the score would indicate.

Winfield out for Vikings, Wilson for Seahawks

Minnesota Vikings cornerback Antoine Winfield is inactive for his fourth straight game Sunday, against the Seattle Seahawks. Winfield has not played since Oct. 18 because of a foot injury. He was listed as doubtful on the injury report Friday. Benny Sapp started in his place. The Vikings were also without backup defensive tackle Fred Evans, who was ill for most of the week. Seattle deactivated cornerback Josh Wilson and defensive tackle Craig Terrill.

Houshmandzadeh, who picked Seattle over Minnesota in free agency, has had an up-and-down season but is coming off a season-high 165 receiving yards. But quarterback Matt Hasselbeck believes this game is bigger for Burleson, who spent his first three years in Minnesota.
