Buffalo's Eric Wood suffers Leon injury

Leon Washington now has company, unfortunately. Buffalo rookie guard Eric Wood broke both his tibia and fibula, and remained in Jacksonville to have immediate surgery. Now this rare, horrific injury has happened twice in one NFL season. Hopefully Washington and Wood will both overcome this catastropic injury, and come back and play in 2010.

Foxboro - Jets cornerback Donald Strickland looked out of it after the game. And that is understandable. He took a nasty hit in the open field from 6-7, 310 pound tackle Mark LeVoir. Though Rex Ryan and Strickland wouldn't confirm it was a concussion, what else could it be?

Foxboro - After the game, Rex Ryan talked about how the Jets got their butts kicked and how they were outplayed and outcoached. I don't agree. They lost for two reasons - their rookie quarterback threw four picks and they did a horrible job covering Wes Welker in the slot. End of story.

Last Sunday's stunning 35-34 loss to the Indianapolis Colts had unleashed criticism of Belichick's decision-making.

Foxboro - Jets extra tight end and offensive lineman Robert Turner hurt his right knee in the Jets loss to New England, and was limping terribly in the locker room. The knee was heavily wrapped.

Foxboro - Jets cornerback Dwight Lowery left Gillette Stadium on crutches and with a boot on his right ankle. He suffered the injury on the second half kickoff return. It looks like he could be out a while. Why is Justin Miller on the team if they aren't going to use him as a kick returner?
